It's not as bad as it might sound but hey I figured you might want to know what's going on(or maybe not, but I'm telling you guys anyway, ha! ).
As most of you might have noticed I have been busy and sadly rather inactive here (not commenting on your wonderful art as much as I should, sorry!). I have been really stressed out lately, truth to be told I haven't been feeling all to well. It got worse during the summer, with all the field work and not having any free time where I got a chance to relax properly. I've basically been feeling exhausted, stressed out and constantly worried 24/7 for quite some time now (read months). Nothing could cheer me up and I couldn't relax properly. And apart from being moody I started to have palpitations and, what I guess I have to call, anxiety attacks (not fun at all). I finally reached a point when I was convinced that there was something physically wrong with me. So I gathered enough curage and forced myself to see a doctor and let her do a check up on me and take some bloodsamples And there was nothing wrong: my EKG test looked perfect, my bloodpressure wasn't high and she would contact me if the bloodsamples showed anything. It's been more than two weeks since they took them so I'll just assume that they didn't find anything. So I don't have diabetes, anaemia or anything else
So, the cause? Stress, stress and some more stress. Which I suspected all along but it felt good to get it on black and white that there isn't anything physically wrong with me And no worries dearies, I've been feeling a lot better since I visited the doctor I simply need to stop stess so much and stop exaggerating every tiny little thing and make it 10 times worse than it really is. I push myself too hard, that's my problem But I'll work on it!
Now, I'm not fishing for any sympathy, but I thought you deserved a little explanation why it takes so long for me to finish my drawings (and so you guys don't think I'm lazy or anything ). I have a lot to do at the university and I have finally started to prioritize rest much more than I did before. So you'll have to be a bit patient with me
Oh yes, I also got my svine flue vaccination yesterday. Didn't feel a thing and apart from having a rather sore left arm I can't say I'm suffering too much from the shot at the moment
